We received an email Wed. the 17 that there was a Texas  born thoroughbred in a KILL PEN in NJ.  All of us at the rescue sent out emergency emails asking for donations to help save and bring this Texas horse home and keep her from the slaughter house.  Late Thurs. after donations started coming in we were notified that the tattoo # might have been read wrong and it could be a CA horse.  We decided that we made a commitment to save this horse and as a rescue we were going to save her even though she might not be who we think.  As of Fri after noon we are very happy to say that we were able to raise the money to save her.  We are still in need of help to get her transported back home to Texas.  To all of you who have helped with donations and or prayers thank you so very much.  If you think you might be too late to help your not it's never too late and no donation is too small!!!  Please check back as we will update the status of this horse’s trip across the U.S to come home.
